Why We Love and Use PCA Jessner Peels
There are three different types of Jessner Peels: peels for hyper-pigmentation, for fine lines/wrinkles, and for acne.
What is a Jessner Peel?
A Jessner peel is a medium depth chemical peel that exfoliates the skin outer layer in order to create a smoother texture, giving your skin a more glowing appearance.
What ingredients are in a Jessner Peel?
We customize our peels to fit your skincare needs. Different types of these blends combine alpha hydroxy acids with kojic acid and citric acid (with or without hydroquinone) and a standard Jessner solution.
What are the results of a Jessner Peel?
Depending on the solution combinations, your peel can address hyperpigmentation from sun damage, fine lines/wrinkles inflammation, or hormonal changes. The peel softens the depth of surface lines around the eyes and nasolabial folds and helps clear acne and even skin tone, especially for oily skin.
Will I need more than one Jessner Peel treatment?
Our trained esthetician will choose the correct PCA peel for your skin condition and skin type. (This is why showing up early for your session is so important to allow for your consultation!) Depending on the condition of your skin, a series of peels and/or microdermabrasion may be suggested. Often we see the best results after six treatments. As always, when you purchase five you will receive the sixth peel free!
